Creating and designing a website for a very technical product is always a stimulating challenge: it is necessary to define an accurate balance between aesthetics and informative content, design an attractive space that speaks the professionals’ language, while retaining a global appeal. The axiom from which we are inspired is, once again: less is more.
Clear lines, simplicity, function make always aesthetics and information clearness agree.
The power of a beautiful picture is never enough exalted; even a simple close-up of a technical component can be attractive, materic, tactile and communicate the passion with which that piece was made and carved.
Famar is a synonym of quality in metals surface treatment since 35 years: chemical nickel plating, anodic oxidation, impregnation and shot peening. Services, in effect, quite technical. Bia has worked enthusiastically to tell them in the new company website with the aim of combining appeal and simplicity of navigation. The choice of layout has decided for a very tidy and modern format that stands out from those used by competitors. The White is prevalent, the contents find space and brightness, the corporate blue and the photos of the components get the prominence they earn. Behind the metallic close ups that features each screen there is a shooting able of enhancing the treatments and the materic aspect of the components, giving back the site visitors the sensation of physically touching them.
The company logo has also experienced a restyling: a slight chromatic and character refinement to update, without altering, a logo that has been transmitting the strenght of this Parma company since 35 years (on the sensitive operation of the logos restyling we talked also in this post).
